Summer Patent Agent

Foley & Lardner LLP is seeking a Summer Patent Agent (a ten-week position) to join the Intellectual Property Department in our Milwaukee office. We are seeking an individual with a strong academic background and excellent written and oral communication skills. Our ideal candidates are eager to confront new challenges and responsibilities; take satisfaction in developing practical, winning solutions; value an environment where everyone is treated with mutual support and respect; and do their best work when functioning as part of a team. The position will entail working with Foley’s patent agents and attorneys, as well as inventors from cutting edge companies like Google, Qualcomm, Toshiba, Rockwell, Johnson Controls and others as they seek patent protection on their latest innovations.
