Patent Agent / Boston

Foley & Lardner LLP is seeking a Patent Agent to join the Intellectual Property Department in our Boston office. We are seeking an individual with a strong academic background, and excellent written and oral communication skills. The position will entail working with inventors from cutting edge companies like Google, Qualcomm, Toshiba, Rockwell, Johnson Controls and others as they seek patent protection on their latest innovations. A degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science is required, and a strong background in software is preferred. Admission before the USPTO is also preferred, although not required; but must be obtained within the first year of the position. Interested applicants should submit resume/CV and transcript.
