Foley & Lardner LLP is seeking an attorney with 6 -10 years of Business Law experience to join the Transactions Practice Group in our Boston office. Qualified candidates must have strong experience in mergers and acquisitions and private equity transactions. Litigation Staff Attorney - Tampa

Foley & Lardner LLP is seeking an attorney with 2 to 5 years of litigation experience to join the Litigation Department in our Tampa office as a staff attorney. This is a full time, non-partner track position supporting our Construction Practice Group. Our ideal candidate will have very strong legal research and writing skills and will have conducted discovery, drafted motions, argued one or more motions in court, have some deposition experience, and assisted in trial preparation in both state and federal courts. Experience in mediation, arbitration, and litigation of insurance claims, construction and design defect claims, and related matters is strongly preferred. Strong organizational and time management skills required, as this position involves managing a significant volume of matters. We are seeking a highly-motivated attorney, who is eager to learn and gain valuable experience while supporting attorneys in our Tampa office. To be considered, a candidate must hold a JD from an ABA-approved law school and be in good standing and an active member of the Florida Bar. Mid-Level Tax Associate - Dallas

Foley Gardere is seeking a mid-level associate with 3 - 5 years of relevant experience to join the Taxation Practice Group in our Dallas office. Qualified candidate will have strong writing, communication, and interpersonal skills; and will have experience in tax-side transactional work, tax controversy, SALT (state and local tax), and general tax work. Some experience in tax litigation and sales & use tax issues desired.We are seeking a well-rounded, dynamic, highly motivated associate who has an interest in learning tax law, is willing to be flexible with assignments, and has a strong desire to contribute to a team. Positive attitude, willingness to learn and improve, and dedication to serving our clients are essential. Top academics and experience required. To be considered, a candidate must hold a JD from a top-tier, ABA-approved law school, with a background in tax, such as an LLM or concentration of classes in income tax-related subjects, along with relevant law firm tax experience. Candidate must be in good standing and an active member of the bar of the state in which he or she is admitted to practice.
