Anthem-Foley Fellowship / Los Angeles Office (2020)

Foley & Lardner LLP and Anthem, Inc., a Fortune 50 company and one of the largest health benefits companies in the United States, have come together to create the Anthem-Foley Fellowship for current first-year law students interested in pursuing challenging opportunities both in private sector law and with future in-house opportunities. The fellowship combines two outstanding summer internships followed by an opportunity to become a new Litigation associate at Foley upon graduation. The Anthem-Foley Fellow will spend the summer following the first year of law school, 10-12 weeks beginning in May/June of 2020, at Anthem in Woodland Hills, CA. If the Anthem-Foley Fellow performs well during the first summer at Anthem, the Fellow will join Foley’s Summer Associate Program as a 2L summer associate, for 10 weeks beginning in May of 2021, in Foley’s Los Angeles office. Following successful completion of the 2021 Summer Associate Program, the Anthem-Foley Fellow will join Foley as a new associate in the fall after law school graduation. Eligible applicants must have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and completed one year at an ABA-accredited law school. Continued enrollment in a JD program, must be shown. Preference will be given to students with an interest in Litigation and a minimum undergraduate and law school GPA of 3.0 is required.
